Goodbye Kim (14 Aug, 2017)

Will the USA fund a coup within North Korea as the safest way of disposing of Kim Jon Un?

Are they already working on carrying out this "tried and tested" strategy as they have done so often before when seeking to deal with an "unfriendly" country?

Is this an acceptable solution to the problem?

Can one justify the murder of a despot in order to save the potential death or suffering of millions?

Or does this simply show what a barbaric, primitive race of beings we still are?

Why can't we all just have a Coke and sing the world a song of peace and harmony? :-/

Haha The Yanx have been trying that for 60 years and failed miserably.

Who is the madman? Kimmie or Trumpy?

https://youtu.be/8Crf7dubJ3k

That is the reason Kimmie is like he is.

Remember that the Yanx dropped some 30,000 tonnes of Napalm in a country not much bigger then NZ.

They took out Saddam and everything went to shit. They took out Gadaffi and everything went to shit. But maybe if they kill Assad or Erdogan or Trump or Hitler or Kim Jong Un things will be different this time... It's charming to think that - if it weren't for that one person - a country could blossom overnight into an egalitarian, democratic paradise. The truth is if the DPRK is left without a clear leadership transfer, it will be chaos. It's easy to see why China is reluctant, because they'll be carrying the can.

give them a break
they had a lot laying around with unknown storage life and had only just started learning how to play with it

use it or ooze it

they got rid of a lot of waste munitions in that place

...

kimmy has the same backups stalin had ( not surprising as the fitter fats were quite close to him )

anyone with any power has been terrified to the point where they will not dare even look like they may disagree with him
they will know that he sets traps to find those that might disagree with him and will be suspicious of anyone who approaches them with those ideas .. and whether they secretly agree with them or not will report them in case they are traps ( ie good ol paranoia )

so .. the chances of him being betrayed by any close enough to do it is remote enough to make plan c at best

the yanks have learnt a bit from the russians lately where you can leave all the hints you like as to what you have done but unless there is absolute proof they dont count ( polonium tea anyone ? )
it works on the principle that most people in power have more than one enemy with something to gain by their sudden departure .. so there is always some choices as to who pulled the trigger
no one can start a retaliatory global war without absolute proof of guilt ( get it wrong and one could very well start )

so how could it be done well
my favour would be with a longer range more personal attack
sniper is possible ( chance of missing might be to high )
local bomb is possible but messy and more chance of unwanted extras ( the more extras the more chance of a negative reaction )
poison .. if your a woman ( hey poots how is ya )
my imagination runs to something like a fpv guided wooden stake 1-2 meters x 50-75 mm with only enough explosive to kill in a 2 meter radius
dropped from a stealth drone
if you can actually steer it well enough to tranfix then the explosive will only create a small kim shower in his beloved red

Perhaps the NZ government could sell Kim citizenship. That would get him off the world stage. Of course they'd have to change official policy to make it part of the bargain that he'd move and live here. We could then charge the US for his citizenship. Apparently selling citizenship is de rigeur round these parts. The living here and contributing to NZ society bit not so much.

Yes, and once they'd sold Kim that citizenship, they could let the FBI come in and "unlawfully" take him away at gunpoint. After all, the precedent in respect to how we do these things has already been set in the case of another Kim.

I really do not think disposing of Kim Jon Un is the solution in this contrived crisis caused by someone wanting to deflect public attention from his own shortfalls. Getting rid of a leader of a country who all supposedly love him would be less desirable than a leader of a country who do not like him (well 50% anyway depending on who you believe).
Perhaps some context could be put on North Korea's actions to date, this article is worth a look, it asks the question as to which leader has been the most rational to date. And it is not Trump - which is a very big worry. The action you suggest will have huge consequences for the region, dangerous for South Korea and Japan but really puts the onus on China as it will be seen by them as US shitting on their doorstep.

I realise that you are trying to be droll with that comment but you wouldn't feel that way if you had ever experienced what Napalm does. I have in Vietnam mate. It is not pleasant at all especially when it is used on civilians. The Yanx used tonnes of it in Vietnam and the destruction to life and limb is un-imaginable. To this day I can't stand the smell of roasting meat, it brings back too many bad memories (the smell of people roasting alive!).

Napalm and white Phosphorus should be totally banned forever.

The Yanx have a bomb called the "Flamer", 8 tonnes of Aluminium powder, mixed with Napalm and Ammonium Nitrate. It turns a square mile into a raging inferno far worse than any bush fire you have ever seen. It too should be banned.

No Kimmie is not a nutter he is very calculating and clever. He knows how to push the Yanx buttons. Kimmie will never start a fight but he will do a lot of damage before the Yanx got control of the situation if they ever do (cue Libya and Iraq).

umm partly
call me cynical but from observation
the yanks do seem a bit easier to provoke when they have a stockpile of stuff they want to get rid of or test

as for the napalm and sticking to kids .. there is no nice way to use fire as a weapon that doesnt create a never to be forgotten stench
ask anyone from the greeks ( and possibly beforehand ) on .. there is still no real nice way of killing people that doesnt leave some sort of bad taste to someone somewhere

which is why im in favour of taking out errant political leaders and possibly a few of their advisers rather than millions of minions first

till we learn to " just get along " and have methods of removing the grosser assholes it wont end
