Once again they painted them with the prior blessing of Chorus who would have made sure they were aware of the requirements for paints to be used, coverage and appropriate safety considerations. Not just some random deciding on their own to paint someone else's property. Or do property rights not matter to anyone anymore?

property ?

do they have the right to put bland boxes everywhere without my permission
do they have the right to visual pollution without question

if there is anyway a power box can be gained access to by a 2 -15 year old and they are in the public domain
then i demand ohs remove them .... cause if a 2 years old can get in .. they will

having worked over 10 years in surface coatings development ( paint ) i confess to have missed the bit of which 2 created an explosive mix when applied together

pretty much all the regs i saw required outside boxes ( power / communications / traffic ) required they be painted with uv stabilized epoxy coatings
..... a good base coat for almost any other system to adhere to

paint away my dear
we will defend your right to create a more visually beautiful community

we are not talking something someone paid specially for to be on their property
we are talking crappy things put all over the place by businesses
with only the bottom line of cost controlling what they look like
