Is YouTube trying to make a point? (19 Jun, 2018)

Has YouTube decided to exercise its muscles to make a point in respect to the issue of filtering on the basis of copyright?

Are they trying to sway decision-makers in the EU in the lead-up to an important vote on the matter?

If not, then why aren't they making any comment on the problem which has affected a significant number of respectible and trusted channels, including MIT's?

If YouTube is trying to influence decision-makers in this way, shouldn't we be very worried about the precedent that they're setting, as the largest, most influential media company in the world?

Probably part of The Donald's attempts to stop non-American's benefiting from America's wonderful education system.

Hasn't he been complaining about China stealing intellectual property from the U.S.??

Now he's after you, Bruce. Time to put an extra lock on the door.

What if Google starts (very subtly) biasing search results in favour of its friends and against its enemies?

Sorry to dissillusion you Bruce, but they are already doing that.

You can see why they struck out the "don't be evil" mantra from the company mission statement eh? ;-)

"dont be dumb" .. instead
( ,,,,,,,, ....... A E I O U use em sparingly theres probably not enough )
