How lucky am I?

Who'd have thought, that at 67 years of age, I'd be the envy of millions of school leavers, due to my jobs.

Yeah, I am living the dream of millions.

And I feel very lucky to be doing so.

How many readers are "exactly where they want to be" at this point in their life?

Was it luck or hard work and good planning?

"The future is not set, there is no fate but what we make for ourselves".

Those kids wanting to be an "influencer" were the same ones wanting to be a "pop star" when we were young. Many are called, but few are chosen.

Every profession these days seems to suffer from the same problem of too many bodies, not enough jobs

What's a profession?

The modern-day red pill / blue pill conundrum ignores Maslow's pyramid.

If the much vilified primary production sector ever stops (division-of-labour) work,
then the rest can eat their gold bars, their share certificates, their computers,
their consultancy business, their rental buildings and their Utube 'influencer' channels.

And see how well they survive . . .
