I love the way that regulators and their teams of "experts" are dramatising the whole "beyond visual line of sight" (BVLOS) issue, as if it's some new kind of threshold or something that has never been done before.

Instead of fearing the unknown (to them), why don't they do a quick YouTube search and learn from the real-world experiences of amateurs who have been successfully doing this for nearly a decade in total safety.

If anything shows just how ludicrous it is when a bunch of "desk pilots" with nothing but "book learning" start making rules, this whole BVOLS thing is it.
