They're pretty crappy, to be brutally honest.

What do you plan to do with a quadcopter? THat's what determines the best option.

If you want to learn to fly a quad, don't waste your money on something *spendy* with all the bells and whistles. Get yourself one of the little "toy" quads like this:

They're tough as old boots and will allow you to develop the essential skill of actually *flying* the craft rather than being totally reliant on GPS. Spend a few weeks with one of these and you're far less likely to trash or lose your more expensive quad when you buy it.

was wondering about that route but el chepo helicopters i bought before always turned out as a nightmare to try to control
and that was after phoenix training

Quads are a totally different kettle of fish... you've got 3-axis gyros stabilizing the whole thing so they're naturally stable. A heli is naturally unstable.

im thinking pink on the second it has 4 batteries and is 14 cheaper than the one with 5 .. (probably postage weight )

this one seems to have reasonable reviews and has FPV screen

this one doesnt come with the lcd function monitor screen ( bottom of the controller ) but is about 30 cheaper than any that do
