maybe they aren't, maybe they are. I don't like to think people are like that, however you would think a council would keep on top of something like the $2 per person per hour to fly at the airfield as they are concerned with making some money from it.

Money is just an excuse to justify their actions.

At the meeting we had, the CEO said he didn't believe that peopley would honour their pledges to the model park. How nice that the CEO of a council calls the hundreds of people who have offered to *gift* his community over $40K "liars".

He also said that he didn't believe that the model park would bring any money into the community and we haven't proven that it would. He seemed unphazed by the fact that he has stopped us from doing anything which would demonstrate the capability of the model park to do so.

In fact, we wanted to lease the airfield for 3 months over summer (and pay $5,000 to do so -- which is more than the going rate) yet strangely enough, neither my phone calls nor emails in respect to the offer were answered -- the CEO citing "problems with their systems" as the reason.

Yeah... right!

I think it is far better to be able to see what your battery is doing in flight. Way to keep an eye on it!!!
