Who put those pesky power lines in the way

This article caught my eye. looks like CAA are getting some work tonight.

I found it quite interesting that a multirotor could do this, must have help share electricity from one line to another.

Not surprising if it was a carbon frame -- highly conductive. I doubt it was a DJI Phantom or a DJI 450 etc.

So it was either an upper-end multirotor (built by a hobbyist) or one used by a commercial operator who (one would assume) had his RPAS certification.

It *will* be interesting to see what happens. If we don't hear much more then odds are it was an RPAS-certified operator and CAA don't want too many folk to realise that all that paperwork doesn't make a jot of difference to the level of risk associated with these things.

I think it would be quite funny if the guy who caused this was inspecting the lines with his multi-rotor.
