Another year done and dusted (21 Dec, 2018)

Postby aardvark_admin » Fri Dec 21, 2018 7:29 am

This column is archived at: https://aardvark.co.nz/daily/2018/1221.shtml

Where did the year go?

Where did the past 25 years go?

A big thanks to my loyal audience for your indulgence and support over the past year(s).

Now go out and have yourself some fun with friends and family for the next couple of weeks.

But make sure you're back on the 7th of January 2019 so we can pick up where we left off.

Love you all!

Damn GSV, you beat me to it. That was to be my opening gambit!

Thanks Bruce for the year's efforts in writing (when you were not battling the recurrent lurgy, or the council plague) each daily column. Have a great break, and may the original drone master in red, with the venison power plant bring you goodies that keep you smiling.

I've done a video rant about that:

I only put it up a few minutes ago and it's already had over 50 comments and 500 views.

If you have a lunatic yearning to travel amidst the Xmas multitudes, and Hastings in on your route, make contact and call in, eh?

Stay sane if you can - it's becoming a bigger challenge, every year.

Thanks Perry, I won't be traveling over Christmas but (funds allowing) the old sheila and I still plan our nation-wide tour towards the end of the summer so we'd love to drop in and say gidday then.

It's a deal. For you and your (long-suffering ;) ) lady, I can also provide reasonable accommodation.

Looks like the Gatwick drone saga may have been a hoax. https://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/news/a ... d=12181951
