Logan Park itself is a good 100+ metres away from the University Oval where the cricket was played.

A $100K drone? WTF?

Even with some good camera gear onboard... if he paid $100K then he's far to stupid to be allowed to fly the damned thing ;-)

And the follow-up:
http://www.odt.co.nz/news/dunedin/33139 ... imit-drone

Sky TV's drone camera has been grounded until the Cricket World Cup following a run in with another aerial vehicle in Dunedin.

The decision followed an incident in Dunedin on Friday when Sky's drone was competing for airspace with a privately operated ''toy drone'' launched from nearby Logan Park.

Pfffft, please. The Loss of Separation would be no smaller than 100s of metres!

Bigger risk:
Friday's incident in Dunedin came after the drone was attacked by seagulls on the second day of the second test between the Black Caps and Sri Lanka at the Basin Reserve in Wellington.

LOL... birdstrike... how ironic, in light of the claims that drones will bring down passenger jets near airports ;-)

im wondering if its tit for tat

you fly when your contracted to or .. we dont use you

take the loss of revenue for the next few games and rethink what you demand in future
