A hybrid laptop or separate laptop and Tablet?

Postby Alexanders » Tue Jun 16, 2015 11:35 am

Hi everyone,
I have been reading so many controversial reviews and opinions, I wanted to know what you guys think :?
I am torn between buying a separate laptop and tablet or go for a hybrid laptop such as new Acer.
Also the new Surface Pro looks really good with Core i3, but not sure if Windows is the way to go.

What is your opinion ladies and gentlemen?

What's the connectivity like on those hybrid units? Laptops usually have a better assortment of USB and other connections than tablets so if that's a factor you might want to check out and see what (if any) compromises are involved with the hybrid.

Thanks, the Surface Pro has 2 USBs, 1 mini HD and jacks for headphones, also has a keyboard connection.
But I am not sure if a hybrid laptop would actually replace a laptop or is it just another failed attempt on fusion confusion?

A Sony Viao made for a good touch screen + laptop-style keyboard combo. Surface Pro 3 can definitely also get the job done. What it really boils down to is how many USB things to need to use at the same time!
