Cyberbullying is not only nasty, it's a crime.

It's even worse when it becomes a weapon used by those who are in positions of power and authority.

Let's hope that the beloved mayor of the South Waikato gets the help she so obviously needs.

LOL... :-)

I think things in respect to this incident and the SWDC will be quiet for quite a while whilst wounds are licked in high places.

Here's another TOTAL waste of money on the part of the council:

What company in their right mind is going to risk investing in a district whose Mayor is such a loose-cannon? :-)

"The SWDC will primarily use LinkedIn and Google Ads throughout the campaign to drive engagement from US and Kiwi business owners."

Yeah... like someone's going to see a Google Ad, do some quick online research and discover my experiences with this council and then say "it's probably not worth the risk" -- that's if they'd even considered it to be an option at all.

Also, I've bought businesses to the council's door and their expressions of interest have been roundly ignored.

Clowns!

I see that a certain something gets a mention . . .
. . . and Tokoroa’s airfield meant company executives could fly in directly from Auckland.

Tokoroa tower, Tokoroa tower, this is Wendy & the Lost Boys calling . . .

Yes, the SWDC lives in a rich fantasy world don't they.

Chances are they'd fly down then have to divert to Rotorua because the runway was closed for driver training :-)

Besides which, all *real* execs travel by helicopter and therefore don't need an airfield to land on ;-)

Meanwhile, Timaru's district Mayor decided to do his advertising topless.
