My track record in spotting tech-wrecks about to happen is pretty damned good.
The Martin Jetpack was never going to fly (commercially) and I issued a warning long before it was fashionable to do so.
Check the back-issues of this column and you'll find I've been right on the money many, many times.
So now it's time for another "OMG... I can't believe people are giving this crowd money" stories and warnings.
How can people be so stupid?
Why is it that just about anyone who can rustle-up a few fancy 3D renderings, make a webpage and throw around phrases such as "carbon neutral", "Zero emissions", "environmentally sustainable" and "electric powered" -- are able to drum up so much financing and interest from those with more money than sense?
Ah well... watch this spot but I am prepred to bet good money that we won't be seeing seagliders traversing the Tasman sea anytime soon.
