We live in a utopia where it's seldom too hot or too cold. Food is abundant (albeit increasingly expensive) and we have very few threats to our safety or comfort.
Life is good.
However, all that could change in a heartbeat, for the reasons suggested in today's column (and others).
So what are the five most precious items you would want in the event that something calamitous happened (Barry Manilow tracks excepted)?
Obviously your choice might be impacted somewhat by the nature of the disaster but if you had to set aside five things right now to better cope with an unknown catastrophe, what would they be and why.
