"trusted journalism"

Postby aardvark_admin » Fri May 29, 2020 9:57 am

With all the media claiming "trusted" status these days, I feel kind of pee'd off that even after I let them know, RNZ continues to get it wrong in this story:

https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/national/417 ... worthiness

The story is about a crash involving a Robinson R22 helicopter and they include a stock-image file of a Robinson heli in the story -- but it's the much bigger R44 4-person helicopter, not the smaller R22 2-person craft.

A small detail?

Perhaps, but when does a detail become important enough for someone claiming "trusted" status to correct it when the error is pointed out to them?
