In a case like this, should Facebook/Meta carry some degree of liability when people get scammed?

Sure, it's ultimately the victim's responsibility to do due dilligence on any offer they come across but then again, it should also be FB's responsibility not to be an accomplice to the scam after they've been alerted to it.

Perhaps time for some test-cases in the courts?
